Success Lies in Aspiration, Inspiration, Perspiration and Perseverance…

The Path of Utmost Tenacity and Dogged Perseverance

When Thomas Edison invented the light bulb, he tried over 2000 experiments before he got it to work. A young reporter asked him how it felt to fail so many times.

He said, “I never failed once. I invented the light bulb. It just happened to be a 2000-step process.”

“Many of life’s failures are people who did not realize how close they were to success when they gave up.” — Thomas Edison

While developing his vacuum, Sir James Dyson went through 5,126 failed prototypes and his savings over 15 years. But the 5,127th prototype worked and now the Dyson brand is the best-selling vacuum cleaner in the United States.

“The only guarantee for failure is to stop trying.” — John C. Maxwell

One of the most essential qualities of a scientist is perseverance. Without perseverance, talent is a barren bed.

Often genius is just another way of spelling perseverance.

Success is like buried treasure:

Only the most believing and persevering find it.

Success is sweet, but its secret is sweat.

“There will always be those who will tell you it can’t be done, but throughout history, progress has always come from those who said it could be done.”

“It always seems impossible until it is done.” — Nelson Mandela

“The people who accomplish the most do so not because they never run into problems, but because they believe there is a solution for every problem.”

“The great men and women of history are remembered not because they never failed, but because they didn’t let their failures stop them. They kept on until they succeeded.

Some men may succeed because they are destined to, but most men succeed because they are determined to.

Nothing in the world, including talent, genius, and education, can take the place of persistence.

“Success is no accident. It is hard work, perseverance, learning, studying, sacrifice, and most of all, love of what you are doing or learning to do.” — Pele

Here is the great secret of success:

Pray with all your might for the blessing from God, but work at the same time with all diligence, with all patience, with all perseverance. Pray and work. Work and pray.” — George Muller (1805 – 1898)

There are no shortcuts to anywhere worth going. So also, there are no shortcuts to success.

For success, have aspirations, be inspired, work hard and be persistent.

Age wrinkles the skin, but giving up enthusiasm wrinkles the soul.

Never ever be disheartened by failures.

Be steadfast in the pursuit of life’s goal.
