On Gratitude….

“I am thankful to all those who said NO to me.
It’s because of them I did it myself.”

– Einstein

“Each day I am thankful for
Nights that turned into mornings,
Friends that turned into family,
Dreams that turned into reality, and
Likes that turned into love

“Even though the routine of my job is often monotonous, thank you Lord for the opportunity to work. There are many who have no job.

“Even though our breakfast table never looks like the picture in magazines and the menu is at times unbalanced, thank you Lord for the food we have. There are many who are hungry.

“Even though the first hour of my day is hectic, when socks are lost, toast is burned, tempers are short and the children are so loud, thank you Lord for my family. There are many who are lonely.

“Even though, I keep my eyes closed against the morning light as long as possible, thank you Lord that I can see. Many are blind.

“Even though, I clutch my blanket and growl when the alarm rings, thank you Lord that I can hear. There are many who are deaf.

“Even though, I huddle in my bed and put off rising, thank you Lord that I have strength to rise. There are many who are bed-ridden.

“Even though I grumble and bemoan my fate from day to day and wish my circumstances were not so modest, thank you Lord for life.

Thanks for not having everything:

Be thankful that you don’t already have everything you desire. If you did, what would there be to look forward to?

Thanks for lacking knowledge:

Be thankful when you don’t know something, for it gives you the opportunity to learn.

Thanks for difficult times:

Be thankful for the difficult times. During those times you grow.

Thanks for limitations:

Be thankful for your limitations, because they give you opportunities for improvement.

Thanks for challenges:

Be thankful for each new challenge, because it will build your strength and character.

Thanks for mistakes made:

Be thankful for your mistakes. They will teach you valuable lessons.

Thanks for exhaustion:

Be thankful when you’re tired and weary, because it means you’ve made the effort.

Thanks for setbacks:

It’s easy to be thankful for the good things. A life of rich fulfillment comes to those who are also thankful for the setbacks.

Thanks for troubles:

Gratitude can turn a negative into a positive. Find a way to be thankful for your troubles, and they can become your blessings.

We may have 32 teeth in our mouth, but if one tooth is missing our tongue will constantly go into the gap created by the missing tooth ignoring the presence of the remaining 31 teeth. Similarly, it has been observed that even though we may have almost everything, but we may still go on cribbing and complaining about that one thing that may be missing in our lives. Have we ever paused and expressed gratitude for each and every thing that we already have and have taken them for granted? We should always focus on all the things that we already have and consider ourselves fortunate and express our gratitude for them, instead of constantly cribbing and complaining about that one thing that may be missing in our lives.

One of the basic differences between God and man is, God gives, gives, gives and forgives. But man gets, gets, gets and forgets. Be grateful in life for all the small things which we take for granted….for we only understand its value when we lose it. We must learn to be content with what we have.

Gratitude unlocks the fullness of life. It turns what we have into enough and more. It turns denial into acceptance, chaos into order and confusion into clarity…. It turns problems into gifts, failures into success, the unexpected into perfect timing and mistakes into important events. Gratitude makes sense of our past, brings peace for today and creates a vision for tomorrow.”

– Melody Beattie

Every day be thankful for what you have and who you are.

Have a Blessed Day!!

Though it is true, that god always gives and forgive and human always get and forget , many people know but then to we never thank god for that, we never show our Gratitude….finaly we are selfish in this matter.
But a very great message to learn from this article ,how happy we are and lucky in comparison to many people in this world.
I will definitely try my level best to show my Gratitude and thank god for all what i have got. One thing last but not least “I THANK MY GOD FOR HAVING GIVEN ME OPPORTUNITY TO SEAK KNOWLEDGE FROM YOU” Always keep your blessings.

    HARI AUM!
