The Light that Dispels Darkness of Ignorance

The shadow of discontent has been haunting man for the past so many ages. Guru frees us from this discontent and enables us to have the blissful vision of the Absolute Truth, which is beyond all dualities and the cycle of birth and death.

A spiritual Master’s teachings can help us transcend all sufferings. He gives us the secret key to eternal, infinite happiness. He guides us on the path to freedom from all bondages and limitations.

As we walk with the Guru, we walk in the light of pure existence, away from the darkness of ignorance. We leave behind all the problems of our life and move towards the experience of the transcendental.

When one finds a true Guru, one can conquer one’s own mind — the most difficult thing to conquer in the entire universe.

“It is very difficult for me to answer who is my Master, since I have learnt from almost everything and being. In fact, the entire existence has been my Master, everywhere, every moment, because Guru is the teaching principle. From those I could not learn it was due to my inability. I have learnt from every event that has happened in my life and I am grateful to all that has happened, because out of all that learning I have arrived.”

“I have learned silence from the talkative, tolerance from the intolerant and kindness from the unkind; yet strange, I am ungrateful to these teachers.”

There is a Shishya (disciple) in each one of us…

There is a Guru in all of us…

When it comes to the ultimate teachings, our own Self is our ultimate teacher. The outer teacher is merely a milestone. It is only our inner teacher that will walk with us to the goal, for He is the goal.

Let us bow down at the feet of all our Guru-s on this auspicious occasion of Guru Purnima to express our Gratitude for all the teachings and for their grace and blessings upon us.

Why Do We Need to Meditate?

— An Explanation by Bhagawan Ramana Maharishi… Why does my mind keep running outside all the time — why does it not meditate by itself? A devotee asked Ramana Maharishi: “Why do we need to meditate? I say it is “my mind” — then should it not listen to me and meditate by itself when I […]

    Respected Swamiji,
I totally agree that we really learn something from all the different people we come across. It took me many years to adjust to different roles we all play and to understand it is really nothing but a role which will change to another role after the destined time.I am thankful to you for helping me to understand how to take things easy and contemplate on our original self.My humble pranams to you.We are fortunate to have you amongst us.
