Our Inner Strength
All of us at some point in time may have experienced stress, fear, panic attacks, etc. We may have also struggled discharging our duties at home, at work and in the society. Whatever may be the situation, the past year has been, no doubt, a difficult year for all of us. We should also realize that most of us have dealt with this unexpected and unsettling crisis rather well.
Inner strength is the building block of the individual. It is the inherent motivator. Inner strength is what gives us the ability to make and follow through on decisions, to persevere and to get things done. It is resilience, perseverance and tenacity. It means inner fortitude. It expresses itself as assertiveness, courage and the ability to withstand difficulties and obstacles.
Resilience is an important test of our character and an essential ability that lets us meet life’s challenges. Whenever we feel like times are getting tough, these quotes will remind us that we can, we must and we will, get through this.
“Strength does not come from winning. Your struggles develop your strengths. When you go through hardships and decide not to surrender, that is strength.” — Arnold Schwarzenegger
“We gain strength, and courage, and confidence by each experience in which we really stop to look fear in the face… we must do that which we think we cannot.” — Eleanor Roosevelt
“Keeping a smile on your face, when inside you feel like dying, for the sake of supporting others, means strength.”
“It’s a funny thing about life, once you begin to take note of the things you are grateful for, you begin to lose sight of the things that you lack.” — Germany Kent
“Often when you think you’re at the end of something, you’re at the beginning of something else.” — Fred Rogers
“I can be changed by what happens to me. But I refuse to be reduced by it.” — Maya Angelou
“The secret of change is to focus all of your energy, not on fighting the old, but on building the new.” — Socrates
“I’ve got some bad news and I’ve got some good news. Nothing lasts forever.” — Kate McGahan
“Life doesn’t get easier or more forgiving, we get stronger and more resilient.” — Steve Maraboli
“Out of suffering have emerged the strongest souls; the most massive characters are seared with scars.” — Kahlil Gibran
“A gem is not polished without rubbing, nor a person perfected without trials.” — Chinese Proverb

Hari Aum, Swamiji,
Truly our inner strength increases our faith. Problems will always be there in life, but they only strengthen us and raise our fortitude. There are some problems in my life too, but your teachings help me to deal with them.
Swami-ji your blessings are always with me and my family.
