Meaning of Life…

happyalways

Once a wise man asked God, “What is the meaning of life?”
God replied, “Life itself has no meaning.
Life is an opportunity to create a meaning.”

Life is a book of pages.
We laugh. We cry. We smile.
We stumble. We stand.
We fail and we succeed.
Every chapter defines who we really are.

Life is like a three-page book.
Two pages are already written by God.
First page: ‘Birth’
Last page: ‘Death’
and center page ‘Empty’.
So, fill it with a smile, compassion and love.

Life is like a camera.
Just focus perfectly on what’s important
and capture the good times,
develop from the negatives
and if things don’t work out,
just take another shot.

Life is not about expecting, hoping and wishing.
It’s about doing, being and becoming.
It’s about choices we have just made,
and the ones we are about to make,
It’s about things we choose to think, say and do today.

Life is about the art of drawing without an eraser,
so be careful while taking decisions about
the most valuable pages of your life.

“Don’t go through life, grow through life.” Eric Butterworth

We are completely oblivious and unaware of the real nature of life and continue to live with our petty joys and sorrows until the flame of life is snuffed out by the hand of death.

“There are only three events in a man’s life: birth, life and death. He is not conscious of being born, he dies in pain and he forgets to live.” Jean de La Bruyere

“The average man who does not know what to do with his life, wants another one which will last forever.” Anatole France

“Men do not care how nobly they live, but only how long, although it is within the reach of every man to live nobly, but within no man’s power to live long.” — Lucius Seneca

Never take life seriously. Nobody gets out alive anyway.” Sid Caesar

Life is a dream… Death is going home.

Life still has a Meaning

If there is a future there is time for mending
Time to see your troubles coming to an ending.

Life is never hopeless however great your sorrow
If you’re looking forward to a new tomorrow.

If there is time for wishing then there is time for hoping
When through doubt and darkness you are blindly groping.

Though the heart be heavy and hurt you may be feeling
If there is time for praying there is time for healing.

So, if through your window there is a new day breaking
Thank God for the promise, though mind and soul be aching.

If with harvest over there is grain enough for gleaning
There is a new tomorrow and life still has meaning.

Life has so many hidden woes that we never know when we may touch a tender spot. Therefore, let us be gentle, sweet, kind to all!

A boat docked in a tiny Mexican fishing village.  A tourist complimented the local fishermen on the quality of their fish and asked how long it took them to catch them. “Not very long,” they answered in unison. “Why didn’t you stay out longer and catch more?” The fishermen explained that their small catches were […]
