Life…. Messages….!!
A rich man looked through his window and saw a poor man picking something from his dustbin … He said to himself, “Thank God I’m not poor.”
The poor man looked around and saw a naked man misbehaving on the street … He said to himself, “Thank God I’m not mad.”
The mad man looked ahead and saw an ambulance carrying a patient … He said to himself, “Thank God I am not sick.”
Then a sick person in the hospital saw a trolley taking a dead body to the mortuary … He said to himself, “Thank God I’m not dead.”
Only a dead person cannot thank God.
We should also thank God today for the gift of life as well as all our blessings and for another beautiful day.
What is Life?
To understand life better, we have to visit three places:
1) Hospital
2) Prison
3) Cemetery
At the hospital, we will understand that nothing is worth more than our health – both physical and psychological.
In the prison, we’ll see that freedom is the most precious thing.
At the Cemetery, we will realize that life is worth nothing. The ground that we walk today will be our roof tomorrow.
Sad Truth: We all come with nothing and we will go with nothing… Let us, therefore, remain humble and be thankful and grateful to God at all times for everything.
Sometimes we are unsatisfied with our lives, while many people in this world would want to live our life.
A child on a farm sees a plane fly overhead and dreams of flying. But, the pilot flying the plane sees the farmhouse and dreams of returning home.
As the saying goes, “the grass always appears greener on the other side.” Worldly joys and sorrows are just a comparative state.
“There is neither happiness nor misery in the world; there is a comparison of one state with another, nothing more. He who has felt the deepest grief is best able to experience supreme happiness. We must have felt what it is to die, that we may appreciate the enjoyments of life.”
– Alexander Dumas, Count of Monte Cristo
That’s life!! Enjoy yours…
If wealth is the secret to happiness, then all the rich people should be happy, but that is not always the case. A number of even wealthy people have committed suicide.
If power ensures security, then officials should walk unguarded. But those who live simply, sleep soundly.
If beauty and fame bring ideal relationships, then celebrities should have the best marriages, which is not seen in many cases.
“There are only three events in a man’s life: birth, life and death. He is not conscious of being born, he dies in pain and he forgets to live.”
– Jean de La Bruyere
