Motivational Words to Remember when the Going Gets Tough

happyalways

We need to be endlessly productive and motivated, to live our lives to their fullest and be happy. This is easier said than done, as life constantly keeps throwing challenges at us.  We are neither the first nor the last to experience some of the biggest struggles and challenges of life, be it achieving success or pushing through adversity. Even though our individual paths are unique, we also share many emotional struggles and mental blocks with others. After all, these mutual experiences allow us to learn from the mistakes of others and live a better, happier and more satisfying life.

If we feel demotivated, exhausted, sad, or lonely, if we need that little nudge that will enable us to enjoy our day, these words and quotes will be valuable. They will help us find strength within ourselves and also help us be the strong and capable person that potentially we are.

“You might never fail on the scale I did. But some failure in life is inevitable. It is impossible to live without failing at something, unless you live so cautiously that you might as well not have lived at all. In which case you fail by default.” J.K. Rowling

The story of our life has many chapters. One bad chapter doesn’t mean it’s the end of the book.

What’s done is done, what’s gone is gone.

One of life’s lessons is always moving on

Obstacles help us grow. Many roadblocks in life have detours; they may not take us the way we want to go, but they will still get us there. It just may take longer. Endure.

Results happen over time, not overnight. Work hard, stay consistent and be patient.

Success doesn’t come from what we do occasionally, but what we do consistently.

Just because we’re struggling, it doesn’t mean we’re failing.

“Appreciate where you are in your journey, even if it’s not where you want be. Every season serves a purpose.” Sheetal

“Do not pray for an easy life, pray for the strength to endure the difficult one.” Bruce Lee

“If there is no struggle, there is no progress.” Frederick Douglass

If it were easy, everyone would do it.

A calm mind is not the absence of conflict or stress, but the ability to cope with it.

Life is not about expecting, hoping and wishing. It’s about doing, being and becoming.

We are not what happened to us. We are what we choose to become.

Instead of being victims of circumstances, be victors over circumstances.

Start now.

Start where you are. Start with fear.

Start with pain. Start with doubt.

Start with hands shaking.

Start with voice trembling, but start.

Start and don’t stop.

Start where you are, with what you have.

Just start.

Your journey is completely unique in every way. There is no need to compare yourself to others. Just walk your path, one step at a time.

Life is full of disparity. Like Rudali highest pain is joy, letting go in the heart. Love is God and Truth.

    Dear Swami-Ji,
Thank you for reminding me that the obstacles in life will help me grow. And when the rocks fall at my feet I will be able to climb it or find a detour to take me to where I need to go, Thanks.
