A Parable and Old Pencils…!!

happyalways

The Pencil Maker took the pencil aside, just before putting him into the box.

“There are 5 things you need to know,” he told the pencil, “Before I send you out into the world. Always remember them and never forget and you will become the best pencil you can be.”

“1) You will be able to do many great things and you will be the best pencil, but only if you allow yourself to be held in someone’s hand.”

“2) You will experience a painful sharpening from time to time, but you’ll need it to become a better pencil.”

“3) You will always be able to correct any mistakes you might make.”

“4) The most important part of you will always be what’s inside you.”

“5) Everything you do will always leave a mark. On every surface you are used on, you must leave your mark. No matter what the condition, you must continue to write.

The pencil understood and promised to remember, and went into the box with purpose in its heart.

Now substitute the pencil with yourself. Always remember them and never forget, and you will become the best person you can be.

1) You will be able to do many great things, but only if you allow yourself to be held in God’s hand. And allow other human beings to access you for the many gifts you possess.

2) You will experience a painful sharpening from time to time, by going through various problems in life, but you’ll need it to become a stronger person.

3) You will be able to correct any mistakes you might make.

4) The most important part of you will always be what’s on the inside.

5) On every surface you walk through, you must leave your mark. No matter what the situation, you must continue to do your duties.

We all need to be constantly sharpened. This parable may encourage us to know that we are special individuals, with unique talents and abilities. Only a particular individual or person can fulfill the purpose for which he / she was born to accomplish. Therefore, never allow yourself to get discouraged and think that your life is insignificant and that you cannot make any change and, like the pencil, always remember that the most important part of who you are is what’s inside of you and not how you appear to yourself and others on the outside.

Just Old Pencils!!

What a talent and Patience…!!

Not only the talent but the patience this person has is really something. When one sees the carved alphabet letters on the tips of the pencil lead, one may think that is about it, but no — it was just the beginning! (How did he keep from breaking the lead all the time? See below.)
